Magical Realism is a genre which writes the fantastic as common place and the common place as fantastic. I believe that my writing fits into this niche, though I also believe that the aspects of daily life that we perceive as common really are magical, once we look a bit closer.

"When the Sun is Glorious," which appears online in Prick of the Spindle, was a Glimmer Train Honorable Mention. My recent work also appears in Anamesa & deadpaper.

I'm currently the fourth editor-in-chief of Fiction Fix, the online Literary Journal.
