Boyd Norton

My 16th book (on the Serengeti ecosystem) will be published in 2011 (Fulcrum Publishing). I’ve been an environmental activist for over 45 years, organizing battles to save Hells Canyon (deepest gorge in North America), Idaho's White Cloud Mountains (threatened by open pit mining), Siberia's Lake Baikal (helped establish it as World Heritage Site), currently working to stop a ruinous highway proposed across Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
