The Commonline Journal
The Commonline Journal is an independent literary arts webzine publishing accessible writing and art apropos the common line. For poetry, we tend to lean toward low to medium-diction free-verse that is dramatic, succinct and well crafted. We like alliteration, suggestive imagery, colorful wordplay, cleaver literary devices, nonsense, and surprises.
Our contributors include Arlene Ang, Rebecca Wolff, Tony O'Neill, Anis Mojgani, Lyn Lifshin, Lou Lipsitz, Suzanne Buffam, Christopher Locke, Richard J. Martin, Michael Cirelli, Ellen Bass, Stephen Dunn, RA Scion, Justin Hyde, Rob Plath, and Annie G. Rogers, as well as hundreds of members of the public-at-large.
The Commonline Journal is set in Arial font, published from Seattle, Washington, and Edited by Ada Fetters
