FIELD: Contemporary Poetry and Poetics

FIELD: Contemporary Poetry and Poetics is a literary journal that joined LitList on November 23, 2009. FIELD was founded at Oberlin College in 1969 to address a need for a periodical devoted to poetry that would combine fresh viewpoints, editorial discrimination, and attention to the best work being produced in the U.S. and abroad. Published twice annually, it provides a forum where poets demonstrate what is innovative and most interesting. The unique fall-issue symposium and spring-issue review-essays make the journal an important poetic resource.
