Glimmer Train Stories

Founded in 1991 in Portland, Oregon, Glimmer Train Stories publishes work by emerging and established writers. Payment begins at $700. Submit stories online at www.glimmertrain.org. In last year's edition of "Best American Short Stories", Glimmer Train is listed ten times in the 100 distinguished stories for the year, more than any other publication, including The New Yorker. Three of those ten were the authors' first published stories.
