The G.W. Review
The G.W. Review is The George Washington University's national/international literary review.
The Review was founded in 1980 by a group of students with the help of G.W. professor David McAleavey, current head of the G.W. Creative Writing program. From its beginnings as a small local publication, the Review has blossomed into a nationally distributed, biannual magazine.
We publish fiction, poetry, and artwork from artists across the nation and, sometimes, the world. Material in the Review is chosen from a wide pool of submissions. All submissions are read by our editors and then materials are picked for meetings with the general editorial board members, who read selected materials and vote on whether or not works should be published.
Poetry and fiction submissions from the United States must be mailed in to the G.W. Review office (with cover letter attached), while poetry and fiction submissions from outside of the United States can be sent to the e-mail provided. Art submission
