Hapa Nui

In Hawaiian "hapa nui" means majority or large part. The concept of the reader-driven lit mag is at the heart of what we see as a new movement in literature.

One part on-line venue and one part print journal, Hapa Nui is a place where readers determine through a democratic voting process what they like and, ultimately, which work makes it into print.

Hapa Nui is not intended to be an online literary magazine, but rather a venue where readers can enter into the editorial process.

Each week new work is posted and voted upon by visitors to the Hapa Nui website. New work, and results from the previous week, will be posted for viewing on Monday morning.

The top vote earners will secure a place in Hapa Nui an annual print journal of reader-driven content.
