Holly Rose Review
Holly Rose Review is the first online poetry & tattoo literary journal of its kind.
It began in July 2008 with a blog and a bunch of e-mails announcing its start and calling for submissions. In October 2008, the Web site was launched; and in December the first issue went live, with the theme of peace.
The journal is a biannual online journal with themed issues in December and June.
The themed issues share not just the surface of the theme but also layers within and beyond it--what a theme means and what it could mean if looked at from different perspectives.
With every issue we are interested in poems and photos of tattoos that reach around the corner of life (or death) and grab. Both established and emerging artists from around the
world are always welcome here.
