The Ledge Poetry & Fiction Magazine

The Ledge Poetry & Fiction Magazine features a wide range and eclectic mix of poems and stories by a diverse group of poets and writers. We are open to all styles and schools of writing and seek compelling stories that employ dramatic tension and complex characterization. We especially enjoy poignant stories with a sense of purpose. We dislike careless or contrived writing. We also seek passionate poems that utilize language and imagery in a fresh, original fashion and favor visceral poems that speak to the human experience. We enjoy both formal and free verse poems. The Ledge welcomes work by both established and emerging poets and writers. We believe that superior work appeals to a wider audience than most journals endeavor to reach, and consider The Ledge a truly democratic publication in that regard.
