Leslie Carol Roberts

Leslie Carol Roberts, a Fulbright Fellow at Gateway Antarctica, New Zealand, teaches in the MFA Writing and Graduate Design Programs at the California College of the Arts, San Francisco. She has written hundreds of essays for magazines, newspapers, and literary journals, including the Bellevue Literary Review, the Christian Science Monitor, and the Sydney Morning Herald. Her book. The Entire Earth and Sky: Views on Antarctica is forthcoming from University of Nebraska Press (Oct. 2008).
Roberts holds degrees from Michigan (BA -- Political Science), Iowa (MFA Nonfiction Writing) and the University of Canterbury (MA).
She lives in San Francisco and is completing her second book, Here Is Where I Walk: My Life in the Woods, a reflection on the natural history of the Presidio and San Francisco's Golden Gate recreational spaces.
