The Proletariat Press

The Proletariat Press aims to publish the best underground poetry, fiction, and non-fiction that is available today. We are willing to review and publish any exceptional work written by, about, or for the working class person. Our goal is to bring the public high quality writing at a fair price. It is our hope that by doing this we can expand the possibilities, the market, and the minds of everyday people.

Most publishers tend to over chop, over generalize and over produce their authors in an effort to reach the widest audience possible and maximize profits.

The Proletariat Press is not interested in becoming a multi-media conglomerate. We aim to publish great writing. It is our hope that Pro-Press readers will have this same mind set and will purchase our books not only because they believe in the work we publish but believe that there ought to exist an alternative to the sterilized literature that main-stream publishing houses churn out.
