Radioactive Moat
Radioactive Moat, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a nonprofit literary arts organization featuring an electronic journal and press. The electronic journal was founded in July of 2009. Regarding stories and words, as well as artwork and photography, Radioactive Moat focuses on themes of reactivity, corrosivity, ignitability, and toxicity. Radioactive Moat seeks original creative work that is both intriguing and culturally alert. Note: language is not American. Language is global and we very much welcome translations of literary work.
We seek the confused and the mutant; the outsider and components grotesque. We abhor the insect that is exemplary; we abhor the self-righteous. Poem is simultaneously deformed and lovely; it is not merely game or award. Poem is social criticism; is political; is activism. Poem is few words; is many.
