Stacy Barton is a short story author and playwright. Her collection of short stories, Surviving Nashville, was released in 2007. Her stories have appeared in a variety of literary magazines including Potomac Review, Relief, Ruminate and Stonework and her most recent stage play, an adaptation of Dylan Thomas’ A Child’s Christmas in Wales, premiered in Orlando, Florida. She is also the author of a children's picture book (Babba and I Went Hunting Today), a Ringling Bros circus (Illuscination) and an animated short film (Christmas in Hollyville). She is currently shopping her first novella as well as a new collection of short stories and working as a free-lance scriptwriter for the Disney Company.
