Stymie Magazine

Stymie is a nonprofit online literary magazine focused on sport (and games) in literature, be it through fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction or essay. We love the sport themed work (i.e. baseball) published at places like Hobart and The Southern Review, and other places like Golf World (in their annual fiction issue).
We're partial to the essays of David Foster Wallace, the short stories of Kelly Link, and other such things. We'd be ecstatic to get an essay on 1986's Double Dribble for the NES. We hope you'll check out an old issue* or even better, take a look at our GUIDELINES, if you still have questions.
